The Castle Cares Foundation was created to give back to frontline healthcare workers and seniors and improve the quality of life for these individuals who have served their communities by providing healthcare educational scholarships, emergency assistance, and Castle Cares wish celebrations. As its vision, Castle Cares aims to empower the community to value and celebrate frontline healthcare workers and seniors for their accomplishments and contributions to society.

Healthcare workers wanting to further their education and individuals who are interested in entering the healthcare field can apply for the Castle Cares Foundation healthcare scholarships. The Foundation recognizes the value in investing in these individuals who have an essential role in society and in taking care of seniors.

Funding for emergency assistance is designed to help healthcare workers and seniors who find themselves in need of financial support to cope with the financial impact of an unexpected emergency.

The purpose of the Castle Cares Foundation wish celebrations is to empower seniors and show how much they are valued by their family, friends, and communities. This program aims to bring joy to the lives of older persons by helping them cross off an item on their bucket list that they felt would not be possible to do due to limitations relating to age, finances, or other issues.

IMPACT Melanoma is the nation’s leading non-profit organization dedicated to significantly reducing the incidence of melanoma in the United States and saving lives. Having recently celebrated its 25th anniversary, IMPACT Melanoma is aiming to make an immediate impact on melanoma by applying proven scientific knowledge and securing resources. Its name reflects its vision: Improving Melanoma Prevention through Awareness, Care, and Teaching.

IMPACT Melanoma is working to increase awareness of skin cancer risks, including melanoma, promote early detection, and save lives. It is doing so by partnering with government agencies, private and public health organizations, and corporate sponsors throughout the United States to disseminate information. As another target, IMPACT Melanoma is advocating for and influencing urban development policies to address shade equity.

IMPACT Melanoma is also committed to supporting patients with melanoma, their families, and caregivers. Its programs provide access to informational resources, emotional support through sharing of experiences of melanoma survivors, and the Billy’s Buddies, which pairs individual patients with someone who has previously been treated for melanoma.
